Delhi - Srinagar - Gulmarg - Pehalgam - Delhi

Day 01: Srinagar

Morning departure Delhi Domestic Airport for Srinagar. Upon arrival transfer to deluxe Houseboat or Hotel for four nights stay. (Please state preference on the booking form) After lunch relaxing ride on a traditional ‘Shikara’. Visit the floating gardens and glimpse the unique lifestyle of the Lake people.

Day 02: Srinagar

Charming morning visit to the legendary Mughal Gardens including the ‘Shalimar’ built by Shah Jahangir for his Empress Nur Jahan. After lunch visit a carpet factory to see the ancient craft. Remainder of day at leisure

Day 03: Excursion to Gulmarg

Full day excursion to Gulmarg. The 2 ½ hour journey will transport you to ‘The Meadow of Flowers’. After leaving the flat meadow land surrounding Srinagar climb to Gulmarg through fir-covered hillsides. Stop at the aptly named ‘View Point’ for spectacular vistas. After lunch take an amazing Gondola ride to the high slopes. Return to Srinagar for the night.

Day 04: Excursion to Pehalgam

Full day excursion to ‘The Valley of Shepard’s’. The 3-hour journey goes via the Saffron Fields of Pampore and ruins of the 1100 year old Awantipura Temple dedicated to Lord Vishnu. After a picnic lunch – weather permitting – walk the pony trails or optional Pony trek (please ask for details). Return to Srinagar for the night.

Day 05: Delhi

After breakfast transfer to the airport for return flight to Delhi.
