Manali - Spiti -Kinnaur Jeep Safari

Day 01: Delhi – Manali (12hurs)

Early morning breakfast and after that we’ll drive to Manali. On arrival check in to the hotel for overnight stay.

Day 02: Manali

Full day Sightseeing around Manali, visit Naggar Castle, Hadimba Temple, Vashisht. Overnight at Hotel.

Day 03: Manali – Kaza (210 km)

Post breakfast drive from Manali to Kaza over Rohtang La & Kunzam La. o/n at Hotel in Kaza.

Day 04: Kaza

Morning visit the Ki monastery, 12 km from Kaza. This centuries old gompa is a labyrinth of rooms and corridors and at one time also acted as a fort. It houses valuable Thankas and offers a panoramic view of the area. Also visit the small gompa Kibber, 9 km further ahead. Kibber at 4205 m has the distinction of being the highest permanently inhabited village of the region. Post lunch visit Kungri monastery. Overnight at hotel in Kaza.

Day 05: Kaza

An excursion visiting Pin Valley, the land of Ibex and Snow Leopards. Also visit an old monastery Kungri monastery in Pin Valley. Overnight at hotel in Kaza.

Day 06: Kaza – Tabo (48 kms)

Travel by jeep from Kaza to Tabo by jeep enroute visiting Dhankar gompa. This gompa rests high over the valley and is a stupendous example of local architecture. Founded in 996 AD by the great teacher Lochan Richensangpo, Tabo is renowned for its breathtaking murals and stucco images – and is often called “The Ajanta of the Himalayas”. Tabo’s sanctity is next only to Tibet’s Tholing gompa. Overnight in Tabo.

Day 07 : Tabo – Nako (80 km)

Morning continue drive to Nako. Nako is a lush village which looks like an oasis in the barrenness the predominates around here. To the north of the village is the monastic complex of four large temples belonging to the Drug-pa order. Overnight at hotel.

Day 08: Nako – Kalpa (130 kms)

Post breakfast drive to Kalpa. One of the most beautiful spot of the area to view the magnificent view of Kinner Kailash peak. Enjoy the dinner and overnight at hotel.

Day 09: Kalpa – Sangla (65 kms)

Travel onwards to Sangla passing Khab, the confluence of the rivers Spiti and Sutlej. On arrival check in at camps. Overnight in fixed camps.

Day 10: Sangla – Sarahan (92 kms)

Travel by jeep from Sangla to Sarahan. On arrival check in at hotel. Afternoon visit the famous Bhimakali temple, regarded as one of the Shaktipeeths. Overnight at hotel.

Day 11: Sarahan – Shimla (184 kms)

Travel by jeep from Sarahan to Shimla. On arrival check in at hotel. Overnight at hotel.

Day 12: Shimla

After breakfast sightseeing around Shimla, visit Lakad bazaar, Advance Study, The Mall, Ridge etc. overnight at hotel.

Day 13: Departure to Airport or railway station.
